Who is Kritty?

About Me:: I began making bracelets, necklaces and earrings over 25 years ago as a teenager, and I’ve been designing jewelry professionally and recreationally ever since. I studied metal-smithing at Skidmore College and my designs have been featured in Ladies Home Journal and Vogue. Now that I’m a mother of three beautiful and creative children, I’ve found inspiration in some of the simpler elements of our lives. I made these scrabble-inspired charms as gifts for close friends, who then wanted to give them to their friends, and so on and so on. That's how this business began-- as a natural progression from what started out as a fun gift idea! I hope you and your friends enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it.

People often ask, "Kritty is your name?" and yes, my given name is Kristin, but since I was 6 mo. old people have been calling me Kritty.

I occasionally paint and sell one-of-a-kind-things here on etsy.

I have a blog too.
